DAC Architecture Run is truly a one-of-a-kind city run. It’s a unique running experience through Copenhagen’s buildings and alleys, up pathways and down stairways, in gardens and parks, through historical buildings and magnificent museums – with no timekeeping. It’s a race for everyone who loves to walk or run through the city. It is organized in collaboration with Denmark’s largest running and athletics club, Sparta.
This year, Copenhagen is the UNESCO World Capital of Architecture, and that will be reflected in the race routes, which comprise a 5K walk or run and a 10K run + the distances inside buildings and locations.
The race will start on Vester Voldgade near BLOX and the finish line is at the Søren Kierkegaards Plads square. In the finish area, you will be offered drinks from Royal Unibrew, coffee and a sandwich or wrap.
During the race, bag storage will be available at Danish Architecture Center, at the entrance from Bryghuspladsen outside the BLOX building.
Close to race day, you will receive information about bibs and race T-shirts.
To minimize waste, race shirts are sold separately. When you register, you have the option to buy a specially designed race T-shirt. The T-shirt costs DKK 150 with the purchase of a race ticket.
