Exhibition Opening: Aware

Exhibition opening

March 21, 2024

17.00 – 21.00
Join us for a sensory opening of the exhibition Aware. The exhibition invites you into an installation that makes you consider how architecture influences the senses.

Architecture can thrill you or awe you, be a place of respite or one that fosters connection. It can be caring and protective – or encourage you to do certain things: jump or shout, run fast or walk slow, keep to the side, or take center stage. Aware invites you to explore and reflect on your experience of space.

The exhibition is created in collaboration with the architectural firm 3XN/GXN, who have long explored the link between architecture and behavior in both architectural works and in research.

At the exhibition opening, musical group Mesmer will interpret installations in the exhibition with their own sound universe, which includes samples from city of Copenhagen and from nature.

Also, inspired by the exhibition’s mirror installation, you can create beautiful kaleidoscopes together with illustrator Stine Illum. It’s fun for both children and adults!

When you get hungry, DAC Café offers delicious dinner.
