This year, we’re celebrating World Architecture Day with the opening of the new, large exhibition Water is Coming and the reopening of the popular So Danish! exhibition. We’re offering free admission and a host of special events. Test your knowledge in an architecture and design quiz with Adrian Hughes, or bring the kids to the Family Workshop and build fish hotels.
Guess a Design Classic with Adrian Hughes
Can you guess a designer lamp when a child draws it? Who can guess a building the fastest as we slowly zoom out? Or when Adrian attempts to mime a building! Two teams of experts compete against each other, and as an audience member, you’ll need to be quick on the draw – there are great prizes at stake.
Help the Harbor’s Fish
If you’re bringing kids, drop by after school and help build a large fish hotel or experiment with creating giant soap bubbles. Fish live in the harbor outside DAC, and they need more habitats – that’s why we’re building a fish hotel for them. The workshop opens at 10 a.m., so daycare centers, schools, etc., are also welcome.
