Good to know when you visit DAC with children
Architecture is for kids too! On weekends and holidays, we invite you and your kids to family workshops in the Educatorium. You can build, draw, and have a good time. Try VR, join us for family tours out in the city, and get your pulse up on our outdoor playground. End your day of fun with family-friendly food in the DAC Café.
What to explore?
Women in Architecture
Forum
Discover fascinating and never-before-told stories of women in architecture in our latest exhibition: “Women in Architecture”. The exhibition comprises a series of spaces – or rooms – where you among other things can play electronic music and write poems on an old-fashioned typewriter.
Make a rocket mobile
DIY
Rocket ships are just plain cool. We’ll show you how to craft a rocket ship that flies to the Moon. Download the cutting sheet below, print it out on an A4 sheet (preferably on slightly thick paper) and follow the instructions. Enjoy!
A Space Saga
Golden Gallery
Explore DAC’s new exhibit, A Space Saga, and learn all about Moon architecture. There you can crawl inside a real Moon habitat that the experts at SAGA Space Architects spent 60 days testing on Greenland in extreme freezing temperatures. Take a dive into the many challenges of Moon life, and test whether you’re ready to live on the Moon.
Permanent installations
We Dare You
Do you dare to take the plunge? We challenge you to an out-of-the-building experience in virtual reality.
A sloping playground
When visiting DAC, be sure to also pop by the playground outside BLOX. The playground is shaped like a sloping hill with trampolines, slides and a climbing tunnel.
