Build small wooden houses and help create our collective island! Visit DAC’s family workshop and let your imagination run free!
In the family workshop, children and adults can build imaginative homes together using matches and glue guns. Inspired by the exhibition Age of Nature, we are creating a shared world with room for people, animals, and nature alike.
What will the city of the future look like? What kinds of buildings do you dream of creating? Let your imagination take over and watch the matchsticks grow into new and surprising architectures.
Practical Info
The family workshop is open from 11 am – 5 pm every weekend and during school holidays. Participation is free with paid admission. Children enter free but must be accompanied by an adult. No registration needed – just drop by!

Guided Gallery Tour of Danish Architecture – with Optional Communal Dinner
Join a free guided tour in English and discover the story of Danish architecture. You can also purchase a dinner ticket and enjoy a communal dinner with the other participants after the tour. The dinner will be served at long tables in the DAC Café.
