Exhibition period

June 27 – August 5, 2018

Where we live – our neighborhood – shapes the way we see the world, other people and ourselves. But when does an area become a neighborhood and do we even know who our neighbors are?

In this exhibition, you can learn more about Danish neighborhoods via text, illustrated facts and photos.

The exhibition “Neighborhood” is created in cooperation with Kraks Fond – Institute of Urban Economic Research with support from Realdania. It departs from a research project by Peter Thisted Dinesen (University of Copenhagen), Frederik Hjorth (University of Copenhagen) and Kim Mannemar Sønderskov (Aarhus Universitet) in which the researchers asked Danes how they experience their neighborhood.
