A Walk Through Time: Explore Copenhagen’s Architecture

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, 1 pm – 2.30 pm

This 90-minute walking tour explores some of Copenhagen’s most iconic historic and contemporary architectural landmarks.

Our expert DAC guides explore how and why Danish architecture has changed over time. We’ll see the brightly colored buildings of 17th century Nyhavn, elegant mid-20th century designs by Arne Jacobson and other Danish modernists, and the city’s newest 21st century landmark – BLOX – home of Danish Architecture Center.

Join a guided exhibition tour where you meet two of the greatest pioneers of Danish architecture: the engineer Ove Arup and the architect Jørn Utzon. Together they created the Sydney Opera House.
