Copenhagen has set itself the ambitious goal to become the world’s first CO2 neutral capital. The goal is only possible because the city is already green compared to other capitals: bikes for transportation, deposit systems, a functioning heating system and good insulated housing, green spaces in the city, etc.

The tour begins at DAC from there we will cross Krøyers Plads and the Copenhagen Inner Harbour Bridge. We will take a closer look at  the Playhouse and Kvæsthusmolen and continue along St. Annæ Square to hear more about climate protection of the Copenhagen old town.

In Adel Street we focus on cooling, which has become the new black in green circles, before we cross Hauser Plads – a multifunctional playground –  and look at the renewal of Købmagergade.

We end the walk by Torvehallerne and Israels Square, where there is a splendid opportunity to get a taste of danish foods and delis.
