A 21st century multi-use “city within the city” BLOX is home to the Danish Architecture Center (DAC) and an urban innovation hub that brings together dozens of other design-related organizations and companies creating solutions for cities.

Completed in 2018, the award-winning Dutch firm OMA, under the leadership of Partner/Director Ellen van Loon, created a striking new urban landmark. Learn more about OMA’s creative solutions for this long under-developed site and see how the firm designed the building to provide a new passage to Copenhagen’s harbor.

In addition to an overview of DAC’s current exhibitions, we’ll get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at parts of this mixed-use building designed with spaces for work, play, fitness, learning, and living. Learn about the building’s robotic parking system. Tour DAC’s Workspaces and see unmatched views of the city and harbor from our Café’s rooftop terraces.
