Build for Animals & Paint Nature with Nature
Fox Dens, Snail Patterns, and Giant Cardboard Caves. Stop by DAC’s family workshop and let your imagination run wild! Build a home for a wild animal, paint nature’s patterns with chalk made from natural pigments – or dive into constructing cardboard caves big enough for the whole family to crawl inside. Here, there’s room for play, creativity, and curiosity for children and their grown-ups.
DAC’s hosts are ready to welcome you and guide you in building with recycled materials, experimenting with nature’s shapes, and creating fun mirror drawings.

Build for Animals
How can we create homes for wild animals such as foxes, owls, and hedgehogs in the city? Using recycled materials and a glue gun, you can build your very own animal house to take home and place in a special spot in your room – ready for a wild animal to move in.
Paint Nature with Nature
Explore nature’s repetitions and forms in sunflower heads, pinecones, and snail shells. With natural chalk, you can paint your own patterns – and on the mirror podium, you can watch them grow in new directions as they’re reflected before your eyes.
Build Caves
Work together to build giant caves out of cardboard. Use cardboard as walls and screws to hold everything together. Cushions and imagination are welcome when it’s time to make the cave cozy.
Practical Info
Participation is free with paid admission. Children enter for free but must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required – just show up!
