Meet Me Here: Presence in a digital age – Spacon
Exhibition
Jun 18, 2025 - Jan 4, 2026
The exhibition Meet Me Here in 2025 explored how architecture and design shape the ways we are together in a digital age. Spacon turned DAC’s Stair Gallery into a sensory installation where the digital and physical met.
Has presence become a luxury in the digital age? The exhibition Meet Me Here explored how architecture and design don’t just create backdrops – but actively shape the ways we connect. With one another, with ourselves, and with the world around us.
Today, much of our lives unfold in front of screens. We click, swipe, and send messages – while perhaps losing touch with what’s close. The small, sensory moments. The chance encounters. The unique experiences that arise when we are physically present – in the same space.
Presence cannot be downloaded, it must be experienced
In the exhibition Meet Me Here, DAC’s Gallery Stairs was transformed into a living installation. Here, you were invited to truly be present – not just online, but with your whole body and attention. The digital and the physical merged into a single space where the senses awoke, people crossed paths, and unexpected moments emerged. It was an opportunity to rediscover what it means to be present – in the moment, and with each other.
Meet Me Here explored how we leave traces as we move, interact, and exist in space. How we are constantly shaping our surroundings – and the relationships that grow within them – through a dynamic dialogue with architecture and design.
Behind the exhibition was the design and architecture studio Spacon, whose spatial approach explored how architecture and design can strengthen human connection and cultivate new forms of presence in a digital age – in a space that reminds us: It all begins here. Meet Me Here.
