Exhibition Opening: Age of Nature

How do we make room for both people and nature in a world that’s changing? That’s the theme of the exhibition Age of Nature, which we’re opening on Architecture Day. Among the speakers is Maria Gjerding from the Danish Society for Nature Conservation.

On Monday, October 6, the Danish Architecture Center opens the exhibition Age of Nature, exploring how architecture can help create a future where both people and nature thrive. Denmark is one of the most cultivated countries in the world – so how do we make space for biodiversity, urban development, and green energy at the same time?
The exhibition highlights the dilemmas we face and invites reflection on our view of nature and our role within it. Opening speeches will be given by, among others, Maria Reumert Gjerding from the Danish Society for Nature Conservation and Stine Lea Jacobi, Director of Philanthropy at Realdania. Afterward, you are invited to explore the exhibition Age of Nature.

Program:
  • 6:00 PM: Complimentary refreshments
  • 6:30 PM: Opening speeches
  • 9:00 PM: DAC closes
