Free Fridays for Youth Under 27

Maybe you already know a few of the iconic Danish architects. Maybe you’ve never really thought about architecture at all. Either way - you’re welcome. Our exhibitions bring together iconic figures in Danish architecture and the most exciting new voices. You’ll also get insights into how the way we design our homes and cities shapes your everyday life. We don’t expect everyone to be passionate about architecture. But we do want to give more people the chance to discover if it speaks to them. So stop by.

After exploring the exhibitions, head up to our rooftop café at the top of the BLOX building. We serve beer for just 25 DKK to guests under 27. You’re also welcome to enjoy dinner and if you have a valid student ID, you’ll get 10% off. The café closes at 20:30. DAC is open until 21:00.

On select Fridays with special events, access may be limited. We recommend checking the calendar and booking your free ticket in advance.

Why free entry on Fridays?

We’re opening our doors to young adults on Friday afternoons because we want to give more people the chance to experience architecture and design.Architecture is all around us. It shapes the city, the society, and the way we live together. Free Friday admission is available for youth between 18–27 years and it’s our way of making architecture and design more accessible for young people.

Please bring ID with a picture, so we can check your age in the ticket office and in the café.
