Join architect and urban planner Alejandro Gutiérrez in conversation with Kent Martinussen, CEO of the Danish Architecture Center. Drawing on nearly three decades of international experience, they will explore how policy, planning, design, technology, governance and finance can help create cities that are sustainable, resilient and great places to live. Expect sharp perspectives and inspiring examples from some of the world's most ambitious urban development and infrastructure projects.
About Alejandro Gutiérrez
Alejandro Gutiérrez is an architect and urban planner with nearly 30 years of international experience delivering complex city, infrastructure and regeneration programmes. He is Director of Cities, Planning and Design in Milan, having previously worked in London, where his practice has focused on the intersection of urban strategy, transport, housing, sustainability and commercially viable development.
Throughout his career, Alejandro has led and contributed to major projects around the world, including the Stratford City masterplan in London, the award-winning carbon-neutral Low2No development in Helsinki, waterfront regeneration projects in Fredericia and Copenhagen, and large-scale urban transformation initiatives in Milan, Venice, Bologna, Chile, Peru and China. His work is characterised by turning complex urban challenges into long-term strategies where design, collaboration and implementation go hand in hand. Alongside his professional practice, he serves on advisory boards and is a frequent guest lecturer at institutions including the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics, Imperial College London, Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano.

Dinner Menu
Enjoy a seasonal evening menu prepared by our chef using the finest local ingredients. The menu changes throughout the year and always includes a choice of a fish or meat dish, as well as a vegetarian alternative. All dishes are served with freshly baked bread and whipped butter.
Dinner costs DKK 175 and can be booked together with your event ticket. Choose between 17:30 or 18:00, and we will automatically reserve a table for you. Guests dining alone will be seated at a communal high table or shared long table. DAC Club members receive a 10% discount in the café.
