52 Weeks, 52 Cities: Iwan Baan at DAC
Exhibition
May 11 - Jul 10, 2016
The 52 Weeks, 52 Cities solo exhibition at DAC in 2016 presented Iwan Baan’s architectural photographs as a chronological journey from city to city, focusing on people and buildings.

The Dutch photographer, Iwan Baan is one of today’s most acclaimed architectural photographers. Starchitects such as Rem Koolhaas, Herzog & de Meuron, Toyo Ito, Zaha Hadid and Sanaá have used Iwan Baan as their principal photographer. Unlike any other photographer, Iwan Baan (b. 1975) has influenced our current perception of the world’s incredibly diverse habitats.
During the spring and over the summer 2016 DAC was presenting a solo exhibition of photographs by Iwaan Baan: 52 Weeks, 52 Cities. The exhibition was curated by the Marta Herford Museum in Germany and showed a selection of photographs in a chronological journey from city to city: from traditional architecture to ultra-modern buildings.
