A small exhibition displayed on four landings in DAC’s Gallery Stairs.
Has presence become a luxury in the digital age? The exhibition Meet Me Here explores how architecture and design don’t just create backdrops – but actively shape the ways we connect. With one another, with ourselves, and with the world around us.
Today, much of our lives unfold in front of screens. We click, swipe, and send messages – while perhaps losing touch with what’s close. The small, sensory moments. The chance encounters. The unique experiences that arise when we are physically present – in the same space.
Presence cannot be downloaded, it must be experienced
In Meet Me Here, DAC’s Gallery Stairs is transformed into a living installation. Here, you’re invited to be truly present – not just online, but with your whole body and attention. The digital and the physical merge into a single space where the senses awaken, people cross paths, and unexpected moments emerge. It’s an opportunity to rediscover what it means to be present – in the moment, and with each other.
Meet Me Here explores how we leave traces as we move, interact, and exist in space. How we are constantly shaping our surroundings – and the relationships that grow within them – through a dynamic dialogue with architecture and design.
Behind the exhibition is the design and architecture studio Spacon & X, whose spatial approach explores how architecture and design can strengthen human connection and cultivate new forms of presence in a digital age – in a space that reminds us: It all begins here. Meet Me Here.
Om Spacon & X
The exhibition is created by the Copenhagen-based design and architecture studio Spacon & X, known for operating at the intersection of architecture and design. The studio is recognized for its interdisciplinary and material-driven approach to spatial installations, furniture design, and experience-based concepts.
In Meet Me Here, Spacon & X reimagine the role of architecture and design in a digital age. They explore how space can be more than a backdrop – a dynamic interplay between users, materials, and context that fosters new encounters and transforms our perception of the environment.
