Come and enjoy a creative and cozy winter holiday at the Danish Architecture Center! All through the holiday, children and grown-ups can let their imagination run wild in the Family Workshop and in our big LEGO® building universe (Only during Week 7).

Build the Island – with room for Animals, People, and Nature
Have you seen the exhibition Age of Nature? In the installation Amsterdam Allegories, you can see 21 small islands. Together, they form one big shared island for the future – with space for nature, people, and animals. In the workshop, you can build with wooden sticks and create your own part of the shared island.
Make Your Own Carnival Mask
What kind of wild animal do you want to be for carnival? Maybe a fox, a bat, or a butterfly? You can make your very own mask and get ready for carnival fun.
Build Dens
Work together to build big dens out of cardboard! Use cardboard for walls and screws to hold everything together. Pillows and imagination are more than welcome when it’s time to make the den cozy.
