Christmas has arrived at the Danish Architecture Center. Inside, you’ll find inspiration, experiences, and creative activities for the whole family – all centered around architecture.
In the lead-up to Christmas and New Year’s, we invite visitors of all ages to enjoy festive activities and exciting architectural experiences. Visit our family workshop, where you can get creative and design your very own imaginary city creature using recycled materials.
Explore the exhibition Cities for People and discover how urban spaces shape our well-being, health, and communities – and see your own city in a whole new light. You can also take a fascinating journey through the history of Danish architecture, from the Viking Age to the present day, in our exhibition So Danish!
Along the way, treat yourself to delicious Christmas dishes in our rooftop café, with stunning views of the city and harbor. And don’t forget to stop by the DAC Design Shop, where you’ll find Christmas gifts for the whole family.

Dare to try our slide? Challenge your senses on a 40-metre slide ride down four floors through DAC. DAC Slide is a permanent art installation created by artist Carsten Höller.
