Summer vacation in Denmark with kids? Visit the Danish Architecture Center in Copenhagen for fun, hands-on architecture experiences and a family workshop packed with activities for all ages. Or join us for a laid-back afternoon in the sun on our rooftop terrace – with DJs every Friday.

Danish Architecture Center in the heart of Copenhagen invites the whole family to a fun-filled summer holiday packed with experiences across design, architecture and cities.

Let your imagination run wild in DACs family workshop, where we explore the shapes and patterns found in nature, try the 40-metre DAC Slide, and dive into fascinating stories of Danish design and architecture from the Viking Age to today in the So Danish! exhibition.

Spending your summer holiday in Copenhagen with kids?

Come and experience architecture up close. Everything is indoors under one roof in BLOX, so DAC is also a great choice on a rainy day – and children under 18 are free with a paying adult. Round off your visit in the rooftop café, where three terraces offer a cool drink and sweeping views over the rooftops of Copenhagen.

Summer in the City

Our café at the top of BLOX is the perfect place to wrap up your visit to DAC and kick off the weekend. Every Friday starting in late June, our rooftop sets the scene for Summer in the City, featuring cold drinks, a laid-back lounge atmosphere, and live DJ sets.
