Capture Your City 2017: In-Between Spaces and Connections
Exhibition
May 11 - Jun 30, 2017
The exhibition Capture Your City 2017: In-Between Spaces and Connections presented a selection of photographs from the spring competition 2017 exploring how identity is connected to the city’s passages, squares, parks, and networks.

A large selection of images from the Capture Your City competition was featured in this exhibition, serving as a testament to the many experiences and moments captured in spring 2017.
Capture the City’s In-Between Spaces and Connections
The city consists of countless passages and connections in the form of bridges, roads, and public transport that take us from A to B. Perhaps these connections have brought you closer to the life and essence of the city—or closer to your own desires and daily activities. Which parts of the city’s networks hold special meaning for you?
Buildings and structures are often highlighted as what give a city its identity. Yet the city’s in-between spaces—such as squares, parks, or your own hidden retreats—are just as essential in shaping it. These may be places where you find peace, stay active, or meet with people you care about.
In this competition, participants picked up their cameras and captured moments that illustrated their personal connections and in-between spaces—unique to each of them. The images were shared on Instagram using the hashtags:
#captureyourcity_inbetweenspaces or #captureyourcity_connections
