Can you have fun with mirrors and make magical transformations with a kaleidoscope? Of course you can. We make kaleidoscopes and play with mirrors every weekend in DAC’s family workshop.

Stop by and see the world change through beautiful patterns and mosaics as we explore the spatiality of architecture and turn things upside down. Join the family workshop in the Educatorium where DAC’s hosts help you get started with fun and creative activities that link to our exhibition Aware – architecture and senses, where you notice your own sensations and see yourself in new ways.

Make your own kaleidoscope

Experience the city through your own kaleidoscope which turns the space around you upside down. You can decorate it to your own taste, and you can take it home with you when you leave the workshop.

Create mirror mosaics together

Join in with others to make fun pictures and colorful mosaics with small mirrors. Study your enchanted reflection in your work of art. The pictures stay at DAC. Iif you visit again, you will see how other children have added to your mosaic.

There are activities for both young and old and it is free to participate when admission has been paid. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The workshop does not require registration.
