Good to know when you visit DAC with children
Architecture is for kids too! On weekends and holidays, we invite you and your kids to family workshops in the Educatorium.
You can build, draw, and have a good time. Try our VR-glasses or get your pulse up on our outdoor playground. End your day of fun with family-friendly food in the DAC Café.
Baby carriages and strollers are permitted in DAC. There are elevators on every level with the exception of the Stairway Gallery parallel to the DAC Slide.
Family workshop
Create plant prints of urban flowers and green streets with seed bombs
Weekends 11-16
We need nature – even in our cities. Come by DAC’s Educatorium where we investigate nature surrounding us and make the city a greener place. Make a print of plants from the local area or roll seed bombs so you can spread the message and some flowers in Copenhagen!
Exhibitions
So Danish!
The exhibition unfolds the history of Danish architecture from the Viking Age to present day and gives you the opportunity to travel into the architecture and understand how absolutely vital it is to our democratic society.

Do you dare to take the plunge? We challenge you to an out-of-the-building experience in virtual reality.
Architecture from a child’s perspective
NOTE! Small Exhibition
The exhibition is designed for young children, but older children will also be able to benefit from it. The architect and the yellow cat have left a trail of footprints starting from the exhibition in Forum.
LEGO® Architect for a Day – Build the city of the future
October 14 – 22, 2023
What does the city of the future look like? Should there be slides instead of roads? More skyscrapers and parks? Or should we build on the water? Come and build the city of the future as a LEGO® architect!

DAC Café for kids
Hungry? Our café on top of BLOX serves kid-friendly dishes and gives magnificent views of Copenhagen. You will also find toilets with changing tables.
A sloping playground
When visiting DAC, be sure to also pop by the playground outside BLOX. The playground is shaped like a sloping hill with trampolines, slides and a climbing tunnel.
