On weekends and holidays, we invite you and your kids to family workshops in the Educatorium. You can build, draw, and have a good time. End your day of fun with family-friendly food in DAC Café or get your pulse up on our outdoor playground. Good to know when you visit DAC with children

Make Christmas stars and print Christmas cards
Every weekend from 11 am to 4 pm until December 23rd
Together, you can make Christmas cards with prints of the city’s spruce and hawthorn, fold Christmas stars from colorful exhibition posters, and roll seed bombs, beautifully wrapped in your own design.
Become a head architect – DIY New Years Eve Hat
Everyday 26 – 30 December
Make yourself a fun and fabulous architecture hat that defies gravity and makes eyes pop on New Year’s Eve! It is free to participate once the entrance has been paid. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Christmas spirit has arrived in town and found its way into Danish Architecture Center. That’s why we’re inviting people of all ages to enjoy some Christmas coziness and activities throughout November and December.

Embark on an ‘architecture hunt’ in the exhibition So Danish! and delve into Danish architecture – from the very first houses of the Vikings all the way into the future. You’ll receive a map with points of interest in the exhibition at the ticket counter when you arrive.

Copenhagen in Common is about what we have in common – namely architecture. It is what frames our lives. A safe place to move about. In the exhibition we present a wide range of Danish architects who are designing Denmark now and in the future.

Are you adventurous enough to try the fastest and wildest art installation in Copenhagen? Challenge your senses on a unique 40-meter, 4-story spiral slide. To try DAC Slide, you must be at least 110 cm tall.

The exhibition is designed for young children, but older children will also be able to benefit from it. The architect and the yellow cat have left a trail of footprints starting from the exhibition in Forum.

Be creative with architecture at home! Be creative with architecture at home! Find the recipe for seed bombs that can bomb the city green, color Copenhagen or design your own dream room. It’s just a matter of getting started!

Enjoy the views from our rooftop café
Hungry? Our café on top of BLOX serves kid-friendly dishes and gives magnificent views of Copenhagen. You will also find toilets with changing tables.
A sloping playground
When visiting DAC, be sure to also pop by the playground outside BLOX. The playground is shaped like a sloping hill with trampolines, slides and a climbing tunnel.
