Architecture is for kids too. At DAC, the whole family can delve into the wonderful world of architecture. On weekends and holidays, we offer family workshops in the Educatorium. You can build, draw, and have a good time. End your day with family-friendly food in DAC Café or get your pulse up on our outdoor playground.

Family Workshop: Fish Hotels and Floating Architecture

January 4 – February 2

Join us to create colorful fish hotels and experiment with floating architecture. You can decorate seashells for the fish’s new hideaways and build houses that can float on water.

Denmark’s national gallery of architecture

So Danish! is Danish Architecture Center’s first permanent exhibition on Danish architecture. The exhibition unfolds the history of Danish architecture from the Viking Age to present day and gives you the opportunity to travel into the architecture and understand how absolutely vital it is to our democratic society.

Hungry? Our café on top of BLOX serves kid-friendly dishes and gives magnificent views of Copenhagen. You will also find toilets with changing tables.

When visiting DAC, be sure to also pop by the playground outside BLOX. The playground is shaped like a sloping hill with trampolines, slides and a climbing tunnel.
