Njord drivhuskuppel
A glass dome with an organic design will inspire visitors to explore and connect in various ways during the autumn.
At first glance, it is evident that the Njord Greenhouse Dome draws inspiration from nature. It is an architectural greenhouse featuring hexagonal windows that resemble a beehive and a piece of golden honey.
This sculptural installation creates an inclusive space, inviting people to relax, find tranquility, and enjoy each other’s company. The glass facade of the dome creates an inviting atmosphere while allowing nature to be present indoors.
Focus on Climate
The greenhouse is constructed using carefully selected materials that have a minimal climate impact. This includes a focus on circular material consumption, utilizing 100% recycled acrylic and up to 70% recycled aluminium. Moreover, the dome is designed in a way that allows for easy disassembly using simple tools, promoting participation in a circular economy.
And fear not, the greenhouse is built to withstand storms and heavy snowfall, as it has been thoroughly tested and documented for its storm-resistant qualities.
The Njord Greenhouse Dome is in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 3, 8, 11, 12, and 13.
