We will open on June 8

We look forward to welcome you once again in the Danish Architecture Center. From June 8th, we will once again offer lots of exciting new architecture experiences to you. We follow the Danish authorities’ guidelines for the re-opening of Denmark. While we wait, we are working hard to get some fantastic new exhibitions ready for you. And then we have decided to extend the popular Kids’ City exhibition, so many more can get to experience architecture for children.

Let’s explore together

Free again at last. Explore our guided public tours, A Walk Through Time: Copenhagen’s Architecture and Capital of Cool: Copenhagen’s Best New Architecture . Let our expert guides introduce you to Copenhagen’s architectural stories. All tours are outside.

Hello Denmark

We pay tribute to Danish architecture and design and dive into the myths behind what that has made Denmark and Copenhagen popular throughout the world: the good everyday life.

DAC Slide

Get ready for the ride of your life. We are very excited about the permanent art installation of the DAC Slide made by renowned German-Belgian artist Carsten Höller. Challenge your senses on the unique 40-meter, 4-story slide spiraling down from the Exhibition Forum to our Design Shop.

Extension of Kids’ City exhibition

The popular exhibition Kids’ City is extended until ultimo October. Bring your family to the exhibition Kids’ City and discover a universe with houses upside down, giant chairs and a bicycle snake. Learn how good architecture can make life in the city healthier and more fun for everyone. Visit our spacious rooftop terraces for a spectacular view of Copenhagen.
