Danish Architecture Center

It’s for children
(and it’s for free)

DAC is also for kids! We have a lot free activities and materials that you can use by yourself. Draw with Bibi, take a swing in the Spun chair, and let yourself loose on our cool playground outside of the BLOX building.

Draw with Bibi

You can follow Bibi around in the exhibition as a part of the exhibition Welcome Home. You will get a lot of drawing exercises and everyone is welcome to color the drawings at our tables and benches in the exhibition. All drawings have been created by artist Sarah Hvass.

Spinning chairs

There are red Spun chairs in The Hall in DAC. A chair unlike any other chair! It looks like a spinning top and you can spin around and get butterflies in your stomach when you sit – it’s great fun for both children and adults.

Finally, you can visit the playground outside of DAC that has trampolines, a climbing tunnel and more!

Practical information

Children have free access to DAC together with adults.

DAC Café has a children friendly menu for 40 DKK. The menu includes ice cream and the classic Danish summer dessert ‘koldskål’.
