Fall break
at DAC
Opening hours
Every day:
10–18
Mondays and Thursdays:
10–21
Darkness is setting in, along with rain and colder days. The Danish Architecture Center invites everyone to a wet and wonderful fall filled with exciting architectural experiences.
Explore our new exhibition Water Is Coming, where we dive into where and how we should live when the water truly arrives. You can also visit So Danish!, which is reopening with even more architectural history and design. If you have children with you, stop by our family workshop, where you can help the fish by creating fish hotels and building solutions like a LEGO® architect to plan where we should live when the water comes.

Exhibitions
Water is Coming
October 7, 2024 – March 23, 2025
The exhibition Water is Coming shows what kind of reality we look into when the water comes. Should we entrench ourselves or should we live with the water? How do we avoid devastating floods? Can you extract quality of life and beauty from the boring climate protection? And what can we learn about building with water as a new condition when we go back in history or look out into the world?
So Danish!

Experience Danish Architecture Center’s national gallery for Danish architecture. The exhibition unfolds the history of Danish architecture from the Viking Age to the present day, offering you the opportunity to delve into architecture and understand how crucial it is to our democratic society.
