Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ
Who leads DAC architecture tours?
As a guide in DAC, you go through a training course where you are properly equipped to handle the task as a guide. All DAC’s guides have a background from the university, school of architecture, DTU or other professionally relevant education. Typically, DAC’s guides are master’s level students and multilingual.
All DAC’s guides are handpicked, and each one has special knowledge, a background, an interest or something else that precisely makes them competent ambassadors of the story of the city for both the Danish and the international audience.

How do I get our group tour tickets?
No tickets are required for group tours, but please bring your group contract with you on the day of the tour to check in your group. Your DAC Guide will meet the group at DAC or the tour’s pre-arranged starting point. Your contract also serves as entrance to DAC’s exhibitions on the day of your tour.
How long does a guided tour last?
You will find the duration of the tour in your order confirmation.
Where can our group eat before or after our tour?
Try our rooftop café with a spectacular view of Copenhagen.
Can we host our group’s meeting as part of a tour package?
DAC has five meeting rooms (up to 200 people) with all modern technology, and a fantastic view of either the rest of the city, or into BLOX’s very special architecture. For further information and booking rooms, contact DAC conference: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is the Metro or bus transportation included for tours out to Copenhagen neighborhoods?
No. Several of our neighborhood group tours start at DAC’s headquarters in BLOX and continue by Metro, where the tour ends in the neighborhood. Other group tours can start and end directly in the neighborhoods. Groups that already have their own bus transportation are welcome to meet the DAC Guide in the neighborhood. Or if members of your group already have purchased Metro passes or the Copenhagen card (which includes free transportation in/around the capital region) they may also use those and travel along with our guide to the tour starting point. Feel free to reach out with any questions. email@example.com
Does DAC provide boats, bicycles, or busses for group tours?
DAC partners with Stromma to rent boats for all our harbor architectural tours. (There is no VAT charged for the boat rentals, but the price does include VAT on the cost of the tour itself.) For bus and bicycles rental please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Because your group tour also includes free entrance to DAC’s exhibitions, we typically start and end our harbor tours from the dock closest to DAC’s Headquarters, on the south side of our building, adjacent to Langebro (Long Bridge) at Christians Brygge 31, Copenhagen. We also have access to docks located along Copenhagen’s harbor and with prior arrangement our DAC Guide and boat partner can start or end at another location that best fits your needs.
