Summer
at DAC

Are you visiting Copenhagen this summer? Come to the Danish Architecture Center and learn about architecture and design. We offer lots of fun for the entire family.

The Danish Architecture Center invites everyone to join us for exciting architectural experiences. Have you ever slid through a building? Try DAC Slide, our 40-meter-long slide or walk the plank in VR. Come and feel the rush in your body, when encountering new architecture!

Every weekend throughout the summer, we invite you to participate in creative workshops for the entire family: Play LEGO® Architect. The workshop takes place in the Educatorium (Our family zone). You can also visit the exhibition Copenhagen in Common or try the architecture hunt in the exhibition So Danish! We also offer guided architecture walks in the city.

At Bryghuspladsen, the square in front of DAC, you can get your pulse racing on the large outdoor playground. And when you are tired and need a break, our café offers delicious summer food on two large rooftop terraces – both with a spectacular view of the harbor.

Copenhagen in Common

Forum

DAC’s big summer exhibition is about what we have in common – namely architecture. It is what frames our lives. A good place to live, work and learn. A nice place to hang out. A safe place to move about. In the exhibition What We Have in Common, we present a wide range of Danish architects who are designing Denmark now and in the future.

Guldgalleriet

So Danish! is the Danish Architecture Center’s first permanent exhibition on Danish architecture. The exhibition unfolds the history of Danish architecture from the Viking Age to present day and gives you the opportunity to travel into the architecture and understand how absolutely vital it is to our democratic society.

Enjoy the spectacular view from DAC Café

Whether you visit DAC Café for food, coffee, or ice cream, you will find a spectacular view of Copenhagen from our two large rooftop terraces. We serve child-friendly dishes.
